San Diego Open
July 28-29, 2012

We cordially invite you to play in our 5th annual tournament, San Diego Open, which will be held on the weekend of July 28-29, 2012 for boys and girls U8 thru U19.  I would personally like to invite your team to our event. We will offer top competition from local San Diego teams as well as teams from Southern California and out of state teams. We will play soccer on quality fields, ensuring a rewarding experience for all level teams.

CLASSIFICATION:
                A Class l CYSA-South sanctioned tournament.

ELIGIBILITY:
Teams must be affiliated with USYSA and players must be registered and able to produce a current valid laminated USYSA or league identification card prior to each game. All teams must comply with USYSA travel procedures. Unlimited guest players allowed. Permanent  2012/13 players cards are acceptable as well as last seasons 2011/12 cards. Brackets assigned for 2012/13 season.

DIVISIONS:
                Boys:  U-8 thru  U-19 age groups
                Girls:  U-8 thru  U-19 age groups

FORMAT:
Each team guaranteed 3 games, finals on Sunday.  All games will use USSF Registered Officials in a three man system (U8 and U10 may have 1 referee for pool games).

AWARDS:
All players and coaches will receive a Tournament Program and Pin.  First place teams will receive a team trophy.  First and second place teams will receive individual awards.

FEES:

$500.00 U-8 thru U-10          $550.00 U-11 thru U-19

ENTRY DEADLINE:
Teams must register or have a completed application with payment post marked by July 6, 2012

NOTIFICATION:
Notification of acceptance via e-mail will occur within 2 weeks of entry receipt. Contact tournament director if you need clarification.  All acceptance notification shall transmitted by July 10th, 2012. NO REFUNDS ONCE SCHEDULES ARE POSTED.
